For the love of flowers, I am bringing back my Floral Friday feature on FB and my blog. Now that Spring is here (almost), I cannot help myself. I just LOVE fresh beautiful flowers, whether in a wedding bouquet or on my kitchen table. This is something that I enjoy doing in my free time, and I love to share here. Rananculus from my garden today….  I am excited to feature upcoming bridal bouquets from all of my summer weddings too!  Have a great weekend!

2013 will be my fourth season of shooting weddings, and I have met so many truly wonderful couples in the process.  These two are the sweetest couple ever.  I shot their wedding at Oak Farm Vineyards last summer, and they were recently featured in Real Weddings Magazine.  And.. they are now expecting their first child, a baby girl!  I love the fact that my clients return to me to capture their growing families.  Have a fabulous day!

Ahhh, I’m so excited to see that Shaelee and Andrew’s wedding was featured on the Ruche blog this week.  If you don’t know about Ruche, you should check them out!  Gorgeous clothing for women, and they have a bridal line.  Shaelee wore the Mia Elizabeth design, with her own touch, a gorgeous blue petticoat underneath!  Love that they were featured as a “Real Wedding” on the site.  You can see their full San Francisco City Hall wedding blog post here!

So excited to share my first engagement session for my 2013 couples!  Meet Ashley and Stephen!  We met on a RAINY day in Sacramento, but we were so lucky… the rain stopped just before the session, so we didn’t even need our umbrellas.  They are getting married next summer at Garwoods in Lake Tahoe.  I’m super excited about their big day and cannot wait!

I am finally wrapping up my wedding season, and going back through some of the weddings that I second shot for other photographer friends this last summer.  I will be sharing some of these over the next few months.  This is one of my favorites that I shot alongside the very talented Molly Davis with MEF Photo.  The wedding took place at the adorable and quaint Healdsburg Country Gardens.  The ceremony overlooked a gorgeous vineyard, and the reception took place in a sweet country barn.  I loved all of the decor and touches that the bride put into the wedding.  I loved that the couple chose to have a Strawberry Shortcake desert bar, instead of a traditional wedding cake.  So cute!

Loved working with this completely sweet couple!  They eloped at San Francisco City Hall on a Monday morning, and I served as their witness. It was so much fun for me… a beautiful couple and a beautiful location with amazing light.  Happy photographer!  Hope that you enjoy!
